Requirements For Prime University Recruitment 2024
Candidates for this recruitment must meet the requirements listed under their desired position. See the requirements below:-
Professor
- Candidates must possess a PhD Degree in the relevant discipline.
- They must have at least fifteen (15) years of full-time teaching and research experience.
- Candidates must have twenty-four (24) scholarly publications, with 40% of them in international journals.
- They are required to have presented at least six (6) conference papers and attended ten (10) academic conferences.
- Candidates must have sufficient administrative experience within the university system, such as serving as a Director, Head of Department, Dean, etc.
Associate Professor

Candidates should possess a PhD Degree in the relevant discipline applied for, with at least twelve (12) years of teaching and research experience in a university.
- They must have eighteen (18) scholarly publications, with 40% of them in international journals.
- Candidates must have presented at least four (4) conference papers and attended seven (7) academic conferences.
- Additionally, candidates must have sufficient administrative experience.
Senior Lecturer
- Candidates should possess a PhD Degree in the relevant discipline applied for, with at least nine (9) years of teaching and research experience in a university.
- They must have twelve (12) scholarly publications, with 40% of them in international journals.
- Candidates must have presented at least three (3) conference papers and attended five (5) academic conferences.
- Prospective candidates are also expected to have sufficient administrative experience.
Lecturer I
- Candidates must have a PhD degree in the relevant field from a recognized institution, along with six (6) years of teaching experience.
- They must have at least nine (9) journal publications, all of which must be in international journals.
- Additionally, candidates must have presented at least two (2) conference proceedings and attended at least three (3) conferences.
Lecturer II

Candidates must have a PhD degree in the relevant field from a recognized institution, plus six (6) years of teaching experience.
- They must have at least nine (9) journal publications, all of which must be in international journals.
- Candidates must have presented at least two (2) conference proceedings and attended at least three (3) conferences.
- Candidates with a PhD or Master’s degree should have three (3) years of teaching experience, three (3) journal publications, one conference paper, and have attended two academic conferences.
Assistant Lecturer

Candidates should possess a Master’s degree with at least two (2) years of teaching and research experience in a university.
NOTE:
- Applicants for the post of Professor and Associate Professor should submit one (1) bound copy of their publications to the Registrar at Prime University Abuja.
- Evidence of publications and conference papers is also required.
