• Candidates for professor must have a good Honours Degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division in a relevant field from a recognized institution with additional qualifications of a Master’s and Ph.D. (where applicable) in a relevant discipline. Possess a NYSC discharge/exemption certificate as a mandatory requirement. Be registered and certified as a member of a relevant professional body with a practicing license and/or member of learned societies as applicable. The use of digital technology and practical knowledge of ICT is an added advantage. Must have 10 years of work experience with 20 publications.
• Candidates for Associate Professor must have a good Honours Degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division in a relevant field from a recognized institution with additional qualifications of a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline. Possess a NYSC discharge/exemption certificate as a mandatory requirement. Be registered and certified as a member of a relevant professional body with a practicing license and/or member of learned societies as applicable. Must have 9 years of relevant work experience. With minimum publications of 15 papers. Must be competent with the use of Digital Technology and practical knowledge of ICT.
• Candidates for the post of Senior Lecturer must have a B.Sc. degree or HND in Science Laboratory Technology with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Those with ANIST or AIST certification and 6 years of experience are also eligible. Candidates with a Master’s degree in a relevant area can apply.
• Candidates for Lecturer I must have a Ph.D. degree in a relevant field, along with either 3 years of teaching experience at the university level or 6 years of teaching and research experience at a university. They should also have at least 5 scholarly publications and 2 letters of acceptance for upcoming publications.
• Candidates for Lecturer II must have an M.Sc., MA, or M.F.A. degree in relevant fields, with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience and 3 scholarly publications in reputable journals. Ph.D. holders without any publications are also eligible to apply. Professionals in the relevant field may apply as well. They must be registered with the relevant professional bodies. For the Department of Dentistry, holders of a DM are also eligible to apply.
• Candidates for Assistant Lecturer must have a B.Sc. degree or HND in a relevant discipline with 3 years of experience. Those with ANIST or AIST certification and 6 years of experience are also eligible. Additionally, candidates with Master’s degrees in relevant areas can apply. They must be registered with, or eligible for registration with, the relevant professional bodies.
