NYSC Registration Portal 2024
www.portal.nysc.org.ng registration portal is currently open for application. This portal will be used to apply for the National Youth Service Corps in order to be among the corps members.
This web page will show you how to register successfully on the official NYSC registration portal. So take this guide very seriously because all the information you need is on this page.
NYSC registration closing date is yet to be announced. So read on to learn more about the National Youth Service Corps registration guidelines and the opportunities that await you.
- To avoid falling into the wrong hands, do not apply via any other website other than the official NYSC registration portal.
- Kindly note that the National Youth Service Corps may choose not to extend the registration process once the NYSC registration closing date is over. So if you want to be on the safe side, then ensure you apply before the deadline.
Guidelines For Locally-Trained PCMS during NYSC Registration
These guidelines are for PCMs who are locally trained. This means PCMS who attended higher institutions in Nigeria.
- The revalidation link is for those in the 2024 Batch “B” Stream I and earlier batches who did not attend the Orientation Camp. If you started registration previously but did not complete it, do not create a new account. Instead, click “Login Here” to continue with your previous username and password.
- You must do your thumbprinting; no one else should do it for you. Upload a clear passport photograph, but do not wear an NYSC crested vest in the photo, or you will not be registered at the camp.
- If you need to request a name correction (addition or removal) from your institution, do this during online registration on your dashboard. You can also correct spelling errors and rearrange your name if necessary.
- The date of graduation and course of study will be printed on your Certificate of National Service and Exemption Certificate. Make sure all your details are correct. Apply for a date of birth correction on your dashboard, but note that you cannot change your date of birth after camp registration.
- If you uploaded the wrong thumbprint or passport photograph during online registration, contact the State Secretariat before the orientation exercise begins. You cannot change your passport photograph after registering at the camp.
- Part-time graduates should register online to print their Exclusion Letter from their dashboard when PCMs can print their Call-up Letters.
Guidelines For Foreign-Trained Graduates during NYSC Registration
These guidelines are for PCMs who were trained in universities abroad.
- Click https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1/ForeignReq.aspx for requirements of foreign graduates Mobilization Process.
- Do not create multiple accounts.
- Upload original copies of your documents and ensure your name is entered exactly as it appears on your certificate.
- You can register from anywhere, but you must do your thumbprinting in Nigeria before attending the Orientation Camp.
- If your institution hasn’t been evaluated, contact the Federal Ministry of Education in Abuja to get an Evaluation Letter, then submit it at NYSC NDHQ Abuja.
- Your SSCE result must be at least four (4) years old.
- During online registration, select a center for pre-camp physical verification.
- After registering online, foreign-trained graduates must present themselves in person for verification, bringing original copies of their degree certificates, transcripts, and travel documents.
- If your credentials have been verified during the pre-camp exercise, print your Clearance Slip and bring it, along with your original documents, to the camp for registration.
- Bring a translated version of your certificate to the camp if it’s not in English.
- If you are exempted from service, collect your Exemption Certificate at NYSC NDHQ Abuja.
- Those excluded from the service will print their Exclusion Letter from their online dashboard.
NYSC Online Registration Procedure
- To register, visit the NYSC registration portal via portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1
- Create an account with your functional email address on the NYSC registration
portal. - Activate your newly created account by clicking on the activation link sent to
your email address supplied during account creation. - Proceed to fill in your details.
- Capture Biometric. Note this should not be done by proxy.
- Upload a clean and clear-off white background passport photograph.
- Preview your registration form to ensure the details are correct.
- Agree with the registration terms and conditions.
- Upload your scanned signature or sign using a digital signature scanner
- Click on submit
- Keep your login details for subsequent use.
Note:
- If you are registering for the first time, click on ”Registration for Mobilization”.
- If you have registered previously but did not complete your registration, then don’t create a new account. Instead, click on “Login Here” to continue your registration using your previous Username and Password.
- If you were mobilized in the previous Batches and have registered online before but are unable to proceed to Orientation Camp, Click on the “Revalidation” link to re-validate your registration.
Once you have completed your registration on the NYSC portal 2024, you will receive an email notification. It is important that you check your email for more information.
