NECO GCE Registration Form 2024

This is to inform the general public that the NECO GCE registration form for the year 2024 has been released. Candidates who want to write the exam can purchase a scratch card and register for the examination. The registration will last for months. Candidates can register for the NECO GCE from 16^th July to Tuesday, October, at midnight. If you are interested in applying, you are advised to do so before the deadline to avoid attracting penalties.

The NECO GCE Form costs Eleven Thousand Three Hundred and Fifty Naira (N11,350) only, also a stamp duty fee of Fifty Naira (N50) will be attached to the fee. The fees are to be paid into NECO Treasury Single Account (TSA) SSCE (E) through the NECO website. If you do the registration at a cyber cafe, ensure that it is a reliable one and expect to pay a service charge.

What is the SSCE External Registration Token?

Candidates use a registration token to sign up for the SSCE External Exam, either on their own or at a registration center. To take the exam, candidates must buy a registration token. They can purchase the token from their online account or at the nearest registration center.

Requirements For The Registration

These are the things you need to be aware of before you proceed to register for the NECO GCE.

A passport-sized photograph is necessary for registration. The photograph should be taken within the last six months and have a white background.
A computer webcam can be used to take a passport-sized photograph during the registration process, if necessary.
Biometric fingerprints will be captured during each candidate’s offline registration.
Candidates should be aware that biometric verification will occur during the examination.
If a candidate’s fingerprints do not match at the verification point, they will be considered impersonators and will be sanctioned according to existing laws.

Application Procedure For GCE NECO Registration 2024

This is the procedure employed to register for the NECO GCE 2024:-

To create an account, visit https://ssceexternal.neco.gov.ng and click on the “Register Here” link.
You will receive an activation email; follow the instructions in this email to activate your account. Note that the email may sometimes end up in your spam folder.
Go to ssceexternal.neco.gov.ng and log in using your registered email and password.
After logging in, you can make a payment for the SSCE external examination.
Upon successful payment, you will receive exam and/or four-figure table tokens.
To register, visit any approved cybercafe or registration point. You can find one near you by visiting https://operator.neco.gov.ng.
At the registration point, provide your information, including pictures, fingerprints, and the subjects you wish to take. Use your token to upload your data. Once the token is verified, you will receive a photo card with your registration number and details.

Note: To upload candidates’ data to the NECO portal and obtain examination numbers, each candidate must be registered and have an online account, either created personally or by a cyber café. After logging into the account, candidates need to purchase registration tokens.

Consideration For Blind Candidates

Blind candidates should register in the same manner as everyone else. However, they must inform the NECO State Officer of the state where they plan to take the examination immediately after registering. The State Officer should collect a copy of each blind candidate’s Attestation Card for further action. Albino and blind candidates will be given an additional 30 minutes for all exam papers.

General Information For NECO GCE Candidates

The registration fee is non-refundable once paid.
Smoking, cell phones, and other electronic communication devices are prohibited in the examination hall. Candidates should wear casual clothing, and no one will be permitted entry with weapons.
Multiple registrations are not allowed; any candidate who registers more than once will have all their results canceled.
If a scratch card is damaged or lost before registration, a new card must be purchased.
It is strongly recommended to use reputable cyber cafes for registration, as the Council will not be responsible for any errors made by candidates.
Candidates should carefully follow the instructions on the online scratch card before registering and review the Regulations and syllabuses beforehand.
Be aware that the photo uploaded during registration will appear on the certificates.
Finally, no candidate will be allowed into the examination hall after the exam has started.
