Nigerian Navy DSSC Screening Date, Venue, Time 2024

The Nigerian Navy has announced the date for screening of all candidates who made it to the next stage of recruitment. All participants whose names appeared on the Nigerian Navy Shortlisted candidates must attend this screening.

There are venues across the 36 states of the federation including the FCT to foster accessibility. During the screening, all candidates will be expected to present their documents for verification. If these documents are found to be authentic, they will be deemed qualified for the Nigerian Navy Training Exercise 2024.

Candidates will be interviewed one by one, and if at any point a candidate fails to meet any of the required criteria, their application will be terminated immediately. Ensure that the information you provide must be authentic and if you provide a fake document or information your application will be canceled, and you may be handed over to the Nigeria Police Force for possible prosecution.

Required Documents for the Nigerian Navy DSSC Screening 2024

All candidates are to present these documents once they arrive at the screening venue:-

  • Birth certificate or age declaration (original and photocopy)
  • Certificates from tertiary institutions
  • Two (2) recent passport-sized photographs.
  • First School Leaving Certificate and Senior Secondary School Certificates (WAEC, NECO, etc), with scratch cards for verification of results (original copy of West African Examination Council Certificate is compulsory)
  • Federal Ministry of Education authentication of foreign certificates
  • Parents/Guardian Consent Form
  • Certificate of Local Government of Origin
  • Recommendation Letter from Unit (Serving Military and Para-Military
    Personnel)
  • NYSC Discharge / Exemption certificate
  • National Identity Card/Acknowledgement Slip( mandatory requirement)
  • Bio Data Form

You are also to attend the screening with these items:-

  • Toiletries
  • A set of cutlery
  • Two bed sheets and pillowcases
  • A pair of white canvas shoes/trainers
  • Three pairs of white (unmarked) vests and navy blue shorts
  • Medium-size hand sanitizer
  • Two pairs of face masks
  • Writing materials (biro, pencil, sharpener, and eraser)

Note: If you are attending the screening, ensure you have original and photocopies of all the documents listed above. You must also separate them and file them for neatness. To avoid forgetting these documents, you can file them, and keep them where you can easily find them.

  • Lagos: Nigerian Navy Secondary School and Navy Town Secondary School, both located in Navy Town Ojo.
  • Bauchi: Command Day Secondary School, Shadawanka Barracks.
  • Port Harcourt: Nigerian Navy Secondary School, Borokiri, Force Secondary School, 115 Special Operations Group, Air Force Base.
  • Owerrinta: Nigerian Navy Finance and Logistics College, Owerrinta, Imo State.
  • Sokoto: Army Day Secondary School, Giginya Barracks.
