This is to inform such candidates that the results have been released and they are now free to check their results. As we stated earlier you can either check your JAMB result online or offline. If you cannot check your result by yourself online, you can also visit any accredited CBT center and pay a token and your result will be checked and printed for you.

Is JAMB Result 2024 Out!

This is to inform all candidates that participated in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) that the result is out.

The official JAMB Result checking portal https://portal.jamb.gov.ng is the official link to check your UTME Result. But you can also check your results via SMS immediately after taking your UTME examination.

How to Check JAMB Result Via SMS

To check your UTME results via SMS, send RESULT to 55019 using the same number that you used for registration (Note: You must have a credit balance of at least N50 on your line). You will receive the result via SMS shortly after.

The following are the responses to be expected:

• A candidate with a result will receive the message: “Dear Mr/Miss X, your result is as follows… (and the details will be provided).
• If you use a phone number that was not used for registration, a message will be sent to you thus: ‘This phone number was not used for registration.”
• If a result is withheld, a “Result Withheld” message will be sent to you.
• If you were absent, you will receive “CANDIDATE ABSENT” as feedback.
• If you belong to the category being given the benefit of the doubt, the message you will receive will be: “Result withheld pending the upload of clarifications/document required from you.”
• A candidate that was ABSENT WITH REGISTRATION NUMBER also CANCELLED will be so informed.
• “Invalid Entrance into the Exam Hall” will be sent to a candidate who gained unauthorized access to the examination hall.

How to Check JAMB Result Online

• Visit the official JAMB result checking portal at https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/eFacility_/CheckUTMEResults.
• Enter your JAMB Registration Number and Email Address in the required column.
• Click on ‘Check My Results’ to see your scores.
• The portal will load and display your results.

How To Print Your JAMB Result

Candidates who want to print their JAMB results will need to visit a cyber cafe and pay One Thousand Naira (N1000). The original JAMB result comes in the colored form and carries your passport photo. Look for any reliable cyber cafe and print your result.
