Bayelsa Medical University Recruitment for the position of school registrar is open to all eligible candidates who are qualified and ready to take the job role.
As the University’s chief administrative officer, the Registrar reports to the Vice Chancellor for all day-to-day administrative operations, except financial affairs, which are the Bursar’s responsibility.
The University’s Registrar serves as the secretary to the Senate, Council, Convocation, and Congregation. The Registrar is an officer of the University by his or her position.
General Requirements for Bayelsa Medical University Recruitment
- Candidates must be graduates of an accredited university with a minimum of a Second Class (lower division) honors degree.
A PhD will be an added benefit, although having at least a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration or Management is preferred. - In addition to not being below the position of Deputy Registrar in a university with at least three (3) years of experience in the role, candidates must have at least fifteen (15) years of post-qualification administrative and professional relevant working experience.
- The post-holder must be a member of at least two (2) professional associations, such as ANUPA, CIA, NIM, or CIPM.

Term of Appointment
